Another milestone in Brislington FC’s ongoing ground improvements was completed over the weekend, as the new sign for the Colin Arnold Stand was proudly installed. The bold lettering now fronts the stand, standing as a permanent tribute to one of the most important figures in the club’s history.
Colin Arnold, alongside fellow club stalwart Charlie Garland, was instrumental in securing Brislington’s historic move to Ironmould Lane during the 1970s. Their vision and commitment not only secured the club’s future but also laid the foundations for the modern Brislington FC we know today.

This latest upgrade is more than just a visual improvement — it’s a moment to reflect on the hard work and dedication of those who shaped our club’s story. The Colin Arnold Stand remains a proud reminder of the values of community, resilience, and ambition that continue to drive Brislington forward.
We’re excited to see the stand standing taller than ever, both in name and spirit, as we head into a new season.
The refurbishment of the stand is being funded through the Artist and Designer Residency project.
