Last weekend, the Briz Club Shop opened its doors at St Anne’s House as part of the BS4 Arts Trail — a unique space hosted by artist Jonathan Kelham and designer Ken Borg, who have been in residence with Brislington FC.
Part gallery, part shop, part workshop — the two-day event brought together football, community and creativity in one shared space.
Visitors were welcomed into a photographic exhibition showcasing work from the residency so far, featuring striking portraits of club volunteers and atmospheric match day images from Ironmould Lane. Alongside the exhibition, the shop featured a range of exclusive Briz merch designed by the duo — including limited edition scarves, t-shirts, prints, stickers, pin badges, and even vintage match-worn kits.
Throughout the weekend, the space was alive with activity. Live printing sessions gave supporters a first look at the 2025/26 season tickets, including the launch of the brand new Free U14 Season Ticket. A mix of performance and community engagement followed — from a lively penalty shootout competition to a hands-on work session building the new Ironmould Lane Ball Stand, ready for use this coming season.
More than just a pop-up shop, the Briz Club Shop offered a chance to connect — introducing many new residents of Brislington (and beyond) to the club, its culture, and the ongoing artist-in-residence project. It also sparked valuable conversations about the intersections between art, design, sport and community — a space where a grassroots club becomes something much more.
Massive thanks to everyone who came through, got involved, and made it such a special weekend!
