Brislington FC are proud to announce Ash Kington as our new First Team Manager!
A loyal servant to the club and a key presence on the pitch in recent years, Ash now steps up from player/coach to take the helm — continuing our tradition of promoting from within.
Joining him is another familiar face, George Dorrington, who takes on the role of Assistant Manager, supported by a dedicated backroom team of Richard Ford and Neil Graydon, with Everett Welchcontinuing his vital work as Physio.
Club Chairman Jack Rogers shared his thoughts:
“We’re absolutely delighted to appoint Ash Kington as our new First Team Manager. Ash has been a key figure within the squad as player/coach under Lee Perks and knows exactly what this club is all about. His appointment continues our proud tradition of the assistant stepping up to take the helm — a path that has brought great success over the years. Both myself and the entire club are fully behind Ash and his new team, and we’re excited for what this next chapter holds.”
Ash shared his first words as the new manager:
"I’m incredibly grateful to the club for giving me this opportunity. Since suffering a knee injury a few years ago, I haven’t been able to play as much as I would have liked — so when this chance came up, I knew I was ready. I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and building a team that this club and its supporters can be proud of. Up the Foxes!"
We’re excited for this new era at Ironmould Lane — let’s get behind Ash and the team as they lead us into the next chapter.
