Brislington FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Zaki Elgahmi as our new Reserves Manager.

Zaki joins the club having spent the last two and a half seasons managing in the Bristol Suburban League Premier Division, alongside coaching within the BUCS football environment and working towards his UEFA B Licence.

His focus will be on developing players, building a strong team environment and creating a clear football identity for our second team as we continue to strengthen the pathway between our Reserves and First Team.

Speaking after his appointment, Zaki said:

“Brislington is a club with ambition, a strong community presence and a genuine pathway for players to progress. Being local to the club made the opportunity even more appealing and I’m excited to be part of what the club is building.”

Zaki also outlined his vision for the Reserves moving forward:

“I want the Reserves to be a challenging and competitive environment where players are developed and prepared for First Team football. Alongside supporting that pathway, there is also a clear ambition to make the team competitive again, challenge at the top end of the league and push for promotion in the coming seasons.”

Everyone at Brislington FC would like to welcome Zaki to the club and we look forward to supporting him as he begins his new role.
