Zaki Elgahmi appointed First Team Manager

Brislington FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Zaki Elgahmi as First Team Manager, following a period of transition under an interim management team.

Zaki joined the club as Reserves Manager in the summer and has played an important role in rebuilding the Reserves squad. More recently, he has been part of the interim management team, helping guide the first team through this period of transition.

Zaki has now been given the brief of rebuilding the first team squad and establishing a strong, club-centred ethos, with a focus on bringing stability and a clear direction to the club. Speaking to the club Zaki shared his vision:

"I’m excited about what’s ahead for the club, I’m bringing an experienced team with me and some very talented and experienced players, and we have a clear idea of how we want to play. Our goal is to build a competitive, energetic side that plays good football, with the team and club reflecting each other’s identity and ambition, on and off the pitch. We want everyone connected to the club to feel proud of what we’re building. We have some tough weeks ahead while the new squad comes together, so I ask for everyone’s patience and support. With the players, staff and supporters pulling together, I’m confident we can get through the early challenges and build from there.

He will be supported by Mo Bokoto, who joins as Assistant Manager.

We look forward to working with Zaki and Mo as we move forward.
