RYAN SMALLWOOD RETURNS

WELCOME BACK, RYAN SMALLWOOD.

Brislington Football Club is delighted to confirm the return of Ryan Smallwood. Ryan knows the club well, having played for Briz last year — and now he’s back where he belongs.

Ryan Smallwood:

“Can’t wait to get back out there with the lads, I’ve always loved this club and couldn’t be happier to be back. As soon as I had a conversation with Matt, I knew I had to come back. There’s a great group of lads here — buzzing to get back in the Briz kit! Up the Foxes!”

Manager Matt Lewton:

“We’ve had to be really patient, but we’ve found the right one — a goalkeeper we know is proven at this level. I know Ryan well: I know his attributes, his mentality, and exactly what he can bring to this side. He’s played 16 games for Hartpury in the Southern League this season and arrives with real experience and confidence.

He’s also a lad who had plenty of opportunities to go elsewhere, but he chose to come home — back to his club.

We’re absolutely delighted to have him back, and we’re really looking forward to seeing him in goal for us again.”
