As Brislington FC continues to grow, so does the team behind the scenes.


We’re expanding our Operations Team and looking for passionate volunteers who want to make a real difference to our club and community. Whether your strengths are organising events, welcoming supporters, maintaining our facilities, creating unforgettable matchday experiences or helping drive new initiatives, there’s a place for you.


These roles are at the heart of everything we do. They help create the atmosphere on matchdays, keep Ironmould Lane looking its best, strengthen our connection with the local community and ensure every supporter has the best possible experience.


MATCH DAY VOLUNTEERS


Could you help make matchdays at Ironmould Lane even better?


We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our Matchday Team and help deliver a welcoming experience for everyone visiting Briz.


Whether you’re passionate about local football, want to give something back to the community, or simply enjoy being part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.


As a Matchday Volunteer, you could be helping with:


• Welcoming supporters and visitors to Ironmould Lane

• Directing supporters and answering questions

• Assisting with car parking and vehicle management

• Supporting the turnstiles, club shop or clubhouse when required

• Helping prepare the ground before kick-off and assisting with post-match clear up

• Keeping an eye out for any maintenance or safety issues and reporting them to the Facilities Manager


We’re looking for people who are:


• Friendly, approachable and reliable

• Happy to chat with supporters and visitors

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• Passionate about community football and creating a great matchday atmosphere


The role typically involves around one hour before kick-off and one hour after the final whistle, primarily for home matches.


STADIUM & FACILITIES


Help us keep Ironmould Lane looking its best.


We’re looking for a volunteer to join the team and help maintain our stadium and clubhouse throughout the season.


Behind every great matchday is a huge amount of work that goes on during the week. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in keeping our home looking its best for players, volunteers and supporters alike.


The role could include:


• General stadium and clubhouse maintenance

• Painting, decorating and small repairs

• Keeping the ground tidy and presentable

• Helping prepare the stadium ahead of matchdays

• Reporting or assisting with larger maintenance projects

• Supporting ongoing improvements around the club


We’re looking for someone who:


• Enjoys practical, hands-on work

• Takes pride in maintaining high standards

• Is reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Has DIY, maintenance, trade or grounds experience (helpful but not essential)

• Wants to make a lasting difference at a growing community football club


The role is flexible and can fit around your availability, with opportunities to help during the week and occasionally before home fixtures.


MATCH DAY HOST


Help create the atmosphere at Ironmould Lane.


We’re looking for someone to join the team as our Matchday Experience Volunteer, helping make every home game memorable for supporters, players and visitors alike.


This is a fun, creative role where you’ll help bring energy to our matchdays and develop new ideas that enhance the supporter experience.


The role could include:


• Delivering pre-match, half-time and full-time announcements

• Managing the stadium music and building matchday playlists

• Running half-time competitions and supporter activities

• Celebrating goals, milestones and club news over the PA system

• Helping create a welcoming, exciting atmosphere from the moment supporters arrive

• Bringing fresh ideas to make every matchday even better


We’re looking for someone who:


• Is confident speaking to a crowd or keen to give it a go

• Has a great personality and enjoys engaging with people

• Has a good ear for music and understands how to create an atmosphere

• Is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team

• Loves football and wants to make a real difference to the matchday experience


No previous experience is necessary—just enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to get involved.

EVENTS & COMMUNIT LEAD


Help bring Briz to the heart of the community.


We’re looking for someone with energy, ideas and a passion for bringing people together to become our Community & Events Lead.


This is an exciting opportunity to shape how the club connects with supporters, local businesses, schools and the wider community, while helping to build an exciting calendar of events throughout the year.


This role is about much more than football. It’s about creating experiences, building relationships and making Briz a club that people want to be part of.


The role could include:


• Planning and delivering club events throughout the year

• Developing new community initiatives and outreach programmes

• Building relationships with local schools, charities, community groups and businesses

• Supporting fundraising and family events

• Creating new ideas to bring more people through the gates and into the clubhouse

• Working alongside our Media & Creative Team to promote events and tell the club’s story


We’re looking for someone who:


• Loves organising events and bringing ideas to life

• Is confident building relationships and networking within the local community

• Is creative, proactive and enjoys thinking outside the box

• Has strong communication and organisational skills

• Wants to help a community football club continue to grow on and off the pitch
