After a ten-day break, Brislington return to league action looking to inject fresh vigour into their campaign. Tuesday’s fixture sees a short trip west to face Nailsea & Tickenham, with both sides desperate to get their seasons moving in the right direction.

Like Brislington, Nailsea have endured a difficult start, managing to secure just a single league point so far. Cup competitions have offered little consolation for the home side either, leaving this fixture feeling like an early-season six-pointer.

Last season, Nailsea took four of the six points available in this fixture. However, with both clubs undergoing significant changes in personnel over the summer, even the supercomputer would struggle to predict the outcome this time around.

Brislington will be hoping this is the match that provides a platform to really kick on. Manager Ash Kington is boosted by the return of Oaklan Buck from suspension, while attention will be on whether forward Withey is fit enough to feature after missing several games through injury.

With both clubs seeking a much-needed lift, the stage is set for a fiercely contested clash.
