Tuesday marks another new chapter for Brislington FC, with new manager Matt Lewton taking charge for the first time.
Lewton will be able to call on two familiar faces for the home crowd:
Jordan Scadding, a popular fox returning after a short spell with Portishead.
Shea Mannings, fresh from his Love Island summer, who made a dream return at the weekend with two goals and two assists. The Poplar Stadium is set for a lively atmosphere as fans come to see him in red & black once again.
The fixture comes just four weeks after the two sides last met, when Bradford ran out 4-1 winners on a sweltering evening. That scoreline felt harsh on Bris, who were punished for defensive errors despite competing well in the game.
Since then, fortunes have shifted:
Brislington have found form, winning three of their last four league matches.
Bradford, meanwhile, have struggled for momentum, failing to win in their last four league outings.
With rain forecast on Tuesday evening, the conditions could play a part, adding another layer of intrigue to an already fascinating clash.
