Match Preview – Jewson Western League Premier Division
Bradford Town vs Brislington FC
Brislington make the short trip south-east to Bradford Town this Tuesday for their first away weeknight match in the league this term.
Ash Kington’s side will be looking to build on the point picked up at the weekend, while also hoping to catch Bradford still licking their wounds after their recent defeat to Newquay AFC – a game in which the Wiltshire outfit were undone by a late winner.
Bradford have otherwise started strongly this campaign, buoyed by the momentum of last season’s playoff triumph which saw them return to the Premier Division. In particular, Brislington, will be wary of Frome Town loanee Jensen Wakefield, who has already netted four goals this term for 'The Bobcats'. That threat, coupled with the foxes sweating on the fitness of several key players, makes for a stern midweek challenge.
All signs point to a lively contest at Trowbridge Road, with both sides eager to take the spoils under the midweek lights.
