Brislington FC are pleased to announce the signing of highly-rated goalkeeper Lucas Myers on an 8-week loan deal from Swindon Town.
Myers arrives with a strong reputation and plenty of potential, having come through the system at Swindon where he continues to develop his game. His addition provides a valuable boost to the Foxes’ goalkeeping department with injuries to both Jordan Schofield and recent addition Will Tubbs.
Manager Matt Lewton welcomed the move, highlighting the importance of securing extra cover:
“Lucas is a talented goalkeeper, and we’re really pleased to bring him in on loan. This gives us strength in depth during a demanding part of the season, and it’s a great opportunity for him to gain valuable experience in senior football.”
The club would like to place on record its thanks to Swindon Town and Travis Wood for their assistance in arranging the deal.
Welcome to Brislington, Lucas — we look forward to seeing you in action!
