A NEW FORWARD — WITH OLD BRIZ ROOTS.
WELCOME HOME, BEN SNELL.
🔴⚫️
Brislington Football Club is proud to announce the signing of Ben Snell, a forward whose connection to our club goes far beyond football.
Ben is the nephew of Bonny Phillips, one of the founding players of Brislington back in 1957. That legacy runs deep — and today, it continues. From youth to the reserves, Ben grew up wearing the Briz badge, and now he returns to the place where his journey truly began.
Ben Snell on rejoining Brislington:
“Buzzing to have signed for Brislington. I’ve had a positive start to the season with Shepton and was committed there, but things change quickly in football! After speaking with Matt I knew this was where I wanted to play my football. Bris is the club I started my adult football journey with and a club I’ve always had a soft spot for. Can’t wait to meet the lads and score some goals to fire us up the table. Up the Foxes 🦊”
Manager Matt Lewton:
“Signing Ben is something we’re all extremely excited about. He’s a local lad who’s turned down a lot of teams to join us. We believe we’ve signed one of the best goalscoring strikers in the area — he comes in with 12 goals already this season and we can’t wait to help him push on. He’s hungry, he’s ambitious, and he wants to make a real statement in this league. Absolutely delighted to get Ben in with us.”
Welcome home Ben! #upthebriz
