WEAVER IS A FOX

Brislington FC are delighted to announce the signing of Spike Weaver. Spike arrives with valuable experience at Southern League level and becomes another exciting addition to Matt Lewton’s squad as preparations continue for the challenges ahead.

Manager Matt Lewton commented:

“We’re delighted to welcome Spike to the club. He’s a hungry, aggressive player with a tremendous work ethic and brings valuable experience from the Southern League. We’re confident we can help him kick on again. We worked extremely hard to secure his signing, with a number of clubs in both this league and the Southern League keen on his services. As a BS4 lad, Spike is a great fit for the group and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Spike Weaver said:

“I’m buzzing to have signed for Brislington. I’d had a really positive start to the season with Mangotsfield and was fully committed there, but football can change quickly. After speaking with Matt, I knew this was where I wanted to play my football. I’m really looking forward to meeting the lads and doing my part by scoring goals and helping drive us up the table.”
