Brislington returned to training on Tuesday evening as preparations ramp up ahead of another tough test this weekend, with high-flying Barnstaple Town visiting Ironmould Lane.
There was a positive buzz around the squad following Saturday’s well-earned point away at Sidmouth Town. The performance showed character, discipline, and a willingness to fight for each other—something the group has been building on week by week.
Tuesday’s session saw the introduction of three new arrivals into the group:
Ben Snell
Ryan Smallwood
Asa White
All three trained well and were quickly welcomed into a squad that is clearly growing in confidence and cohesion. The energy across the session was excellent, with players pushing each other and maintaining the intensity throughout.
Gaffer Matt Lewton had close to a full squad available, allowing him and the coaching staff to work through a number of tactical and finishing drills as the Foxes prepare for a battle against one of the division’s in-form sides this Saturday.
The squad is back in again tonight for a final session, aiming to fine-tune the details and ensure everyone is ready for the challenge ahead at Ironmould Lane.
Momentum is building on and off the pitch — and the Foxes will be looking to carry that spirit into another hard-fought weekend of Western League Premier Division football.
